“Good Morning to the honourable chief guest, principal, teachers and my dear friends. I wish you a very Happy Independence Day to you all! Today, I feel honoured to be addressing you all on the 72st Independence day as we celebrate it in the esteemed presence of our chief guest Mr. Jaideep Khanna, the CEO of the StudyWeb Tech.
August 15 has always been so special to us, isn't it? A day when we remember all the glory of our nation as we recall the struggles, revolts and the efforts of our Indian freedom fighters fighting for the Indian Independence. The Independence Day of India does not only signify the freedom of India from the rule of the British Raj, but it also shows the resilience and the power of this nation that can achieve any fate that it wishes for when all the people of this country unite.
Over the past 72 Years, the nation has only moved forward and is on its way to becoming a superpower. Before even the completion of four years of India Independence, we strengthened the country by making it republic with the introduction of a constitution to which the whole world bows to. We are a country of a vast diversity, and our unity makes us a strong nation. From technology to agriculture we are ranked among the top countries of the world, and there is no going back from here as we are always on the move to grow and do better.
Today, as we remember all the achievements of our nation on the Independence day, let us not forget our soldiers. We rank among the top 5 Military Powers in the world and thanks to our brave soldiers that we can live in peace in our country as we know that they are always there to guard us. They not only keep us safe from the terror forces threatening India, but they are always there to rescue us even in the worst of calamities.
Let me conclude this speech by putting up a small request forth you all. Let us be inspired by our soldiers and work together to make our country a better place to live in. No country is perfect, and we have our shortcomings too. On this Independence Day 2018, let us pledge to do our bit as citizens to make our country great. Small things like keeping our surroundings clean, supporting our local brands, using public vehicles and doing whatever we can to make our Bharat, our Hindustan a beautiful country to live in.
I would once again like to thank you all for your attention and giving me the opportunity to speak in front of you all. Jai Hind!
